Paydibs has announced they are now one of the official partners of Alipay+ which facilitates the integration of payment services that allow digital transactions from more than 15 major e-wallets and bank apps, like Alipay, GCash, Kakao Pay, and others in the Alipay+ network.
For small and medium-sized businesses, that’s a game changer because it makes reaching international customers a whole lot easier and opens new doors for cross-border e-commerce across Southeast Asia and beyond, allowing them to run their businesses much smoothly and have a better shot at competing in the digital economy.
But it’s not just about tech and payments, as this move also supports Malaysia’s diverse communities by giving merchants, even those in underserved markets, new ways to connect with global customers. It’s part of a bigger play to position Malaysia as a hub for cross-border e-commerce growth in the region.
Chief Commercial Officer, Tee Kean Kang, has stated that this partnership is about combining Alipay+’s global reach with Paydibs’ merchant-first innovation, giving businesses access to more international consumers while making cross-border payments simpler, faster, and more inclusive.
