While the live stream is still going on, we’ve spotted this on NVIDIA’s website – the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 is available for pre-order at the price of $799 and $ 1,199 respectively.

GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

nvidia geforce rtx 280 ti comparisonAccording to the official specs on the website, we can see two version of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti – standard edition (?) and Founders Edition. Now, the Founders Edition appears be factory overclocked to have a higher boost clock of 1635 MHz instead of the standard 1545 MHz, but with a slightly higher TDP of 260W instead of 250W. Other than the difference in boost clock, the rest of the specifications is pretty much the same.

Moving on to the RTX 2080, we are looking at a pretty high boost clock for the Founders Edition, which is factory overclocked to 1800 MHz. While the non-overclocked RTX 2070 will have a lower boost clock at 1710 MHz, but the TDP will be at 215W. It’s slightly lower than the Founders Edition, which is at 225W.

And last but not least, the GeForce RTX 2070. If we look at the specs of the RTX 2070 here, it appears to have a much lower count of CUDA cores, which is at 2304. Its Founders Edition will have a factory overclocked boost clock at 1710 MHz – 90 MHz more than the standard version. As for the rest of the specs, it’s looking pretty similar to the RTX 2080 actually, featuring the same 8GB GDDR6 memory clocked at 14Gbps, 256-bit memory bus width and 448 GB/s memory bandwidth.

As seen in the previous leak, the founders edition card appears to be using a dual fan cooler to tame this beast. The silver-black accent from the previous generation GTX graphics cards is retained, and the backplate is now in silver. If you ask me, these GeForce RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition is one premium collectible for the reference card collectors.

NVLink Bridge
