At COMPUTEX 2025, GIGABYTE has officially dropped the Radeon RX 9060 XT and the Radeon AI PRO R9700 that target two very different crowds of gamers and AI developers.
On the gaming front, the RX 9060 XT GAMING OC comes packed with GIGABYTE’s signature WINDFORCE cooling system, which includes the Hawk Fan for stealthy looks and increased wind channeling power with 53.6% boost in pressure and a 12.5% increase in volume, all while keeping noise in check. It also uses server-grade thermal gel that adapts to uneven surfaces and holds up well over time.
Throw in multiple heat pipes and something GIGABYTE calls Screen Cooling (basically an extended heatsink that allows air to flow through), and you’ve got a card that’s built to stay cool even during marathon gaming sessions.
As for the AI PRO R9700, this is one of AMD’s answer to provide AI computing access to the prosumer market with ease, as it is tested for major LLM models and intense multi-GPU benchmarks, so it’s proven to handle real-world AI workloads. It’s also bundled with GIGABYTE’s AI TOP Utility, which makes deploying AMD’s ROCm software stack a breeze for anyone working in generative AI or HPC.
And to keep things from overheating during those compute-heavy sessions, GIGABYTE added an inward-indented fan design that funnels air directly to each heatsink. There’s also composite metal grease and a full-copper vapor chamber working alongside a heavy-duty metal frame to keep the GPU, VRAM, and other components cool under pressure.
