ASUS has unveiled the RT-BE58 Go, a compact travel router designed to bring secure WiFi 7 performance to mobile lifestyles. Fresh off winning both the 2025 CES Innovation Award and the 2025 Red Dot Product Design Award, this mini router is aimed at hybrid workers and travelers who need fast, low-latency connections along with private network access.
Capable of delivering WiFi 7 speeds of up to 3600Mbps, the RT-BE58 Go uses Multi-Link Operation and 4K QAM to ensure smooth streaming, video calls, and gaming, while the dual-band MLO intelligently switches between multiple bands for a stable, buffer-free experience whether you’re sharing WiFi, transferring files, or collaborating online.
Flexibility is offered through three connectivity modes tailored for travel, office, and small living spaces. In addition to standard wireless mode, there’s 5G/4G USB tethering for instant mobile internet and a public WiFi (WISP) mode that creates a secure private hotspot even on open networks. The compact design makes it a natural fit for dorm rooms, small apartments, and other tight spaces.
Security is handled by ASUS’ Triple-level Network Security suite, featuring commercial-grade AiProtection, built-in VPN support, and Guest Network Pro for creating isolated networks for VPNs, smart home devices, or kids’ devices. Small businesses can also set up customizable guest portals for secure, branded internet access. For those with larger setups, the RT-BE58 Go works with ASUS AiMesh technology, letting users integrate it into an existing network for seamless, whole-home coverage under one network name.
