Rakuten Kobo, a global leader in digital reading, has officially launched its integration with Instapaper, the market leader for saving articles to read later. Now available on all Kobo eReaders, this partnership allows readers to enjoy long-form web articles directly on their devices for a distraction-free experience.

“At Kobo, our passion is better reading for everyone, everywhere. With the addition of Instapaper’s excellent ‘read it later’ functionality, we now have a perfect solution for the long-form reading you find on the web,” said Michael Tamblyn, CEO of Rakuten Kobo. He noted that after the unexpected closure of the Pocket service, finding a new solution for readers was a top priority. “Partnering with Instapaper has been a dream, and we’re thrilled to offer this integration.”

The new feature makes it simple for users to save articles from their browser to their Instapaper account and then read them on their Kobo device as easily as any other eBook.

Brian Donohue, CEO of Instapaper, expressed his excitement for the launch, stating, “Kobo has quickly become one of our favourite ways to read Instapaper articles.”
