Cisco just rolled out a sweeping set of innovations designed to help businesses navigate the fast-changing AI landscape.

With enterprises under increasing pressure to integrate AI securely and efficiently, the latest round of solutions is aimed at empowering organizations to modernize operations and embrace Agentic AI technology, packed with autonomy that can act independently to solve problems and drive automation.

Among the announcements is a set of new AI-ready workplace technologies, including intelligent networking devices for campuses and branches, and an AI-powered unified management system to automate network operations. A standout was the AI-driven Room Vision PTZ camera and Webex enhancements like a Jira workflow automation tool and the AI Agent for self-service.

For IT operations, Cisco launched AgenticOps solutions such as the Cisco AI Canvas – a generative UI that fosters real-time collaboration between network and security teams – and the Cisco AI Assistant, which provides conversational control across the ecosystem. These tools are underpinned by Cisco’s domain-trained Deep Network Model, designed to make network management smarter and more intuitive.

Cisco also brought advancements to its datacenter offerings, including compute and network solutions tailored for the bandwidth and efficiency needs of AI workloads. The company’s collaboration with the EPRI Open Power AI Consortium signals its intent to help drive AI adoption in critical infrastructure like the power grid.

On the security front, they addressed rising AI-driven threats with updates to its Hybrid Mesh Firewall and Universal ZTNA portfolio while new hardware launches, such as the 6100 and 200 firewall series, offer high performance at competitive price points, while the broader Cisco Security Cloud gained new capabilities for protecting agentic AI systems.

In terms of observability and digital resilience, Cisco is deepening integration with Splunk, which is now part of its portfolio, to deliver richer insights into network performance. This includes a new bidirectional integration between Splunk Observability, Cisco ThousandEyes, and Enterprise Networks.

Lastly, Cisco previewed its upcoming unified management platform, Cisco Cloud Control. This AI-native platform will span networking, security, and observability, aiming to simplify IT operations with tools like Cisco AI Canvas and the AI Assistant while enabling cross-product workflows and proactive infrastructure management.
