ASUS has introduced the Prime AP202, a compact microATX computer case that blends aesthetic appeal with performance-focused engineering.
Designed to cater to a wide range of PC builders from gamers to content creators, the AP202 features a curved tempered glass side panel and a patented ventilation system aimed at improving internal airflow.
The chassis is available in black or white and comes in two configurations. The standard version ships without fans for users who prefer to customize their cooling setup, while the ARGB model includes three pre-installed MR120 ARGB fans. Both versions feature a bottom-mounted ambient LED strip, with full customization support through ASUS’s Armoury Crate software.
ASUS emphasizes the case’s cooling capabilities, pointing to internal testing that shows superior thermal performance compared to a competing chassis with a similar side panel. A unique slot-shaped vent along the panel is engineered to bring cool air directly to critical components like the GPU. The case also supports 360mm radiators and accommodates graphics cards up to 420mm long and power supplies up to 200mm in length.
To enhance the building experience, the Prime AP202 includes an easy-detach tempered glass panel with an anti-drop rail system, a spacious 30mm cable management compartment, and a unified front I/O connector for easier motherboard installation. Connectivity options on the front panel include one USB Type-C (20Gbps), two USB Type-A (5Gbps), and a combo audio jack.
The launch of the Prime AP202 signals ASUS’s continued investment in cases that deliver both form and function, targeting users who prioritize clean aesthetics, effective cooling, and versatile build options in a smaller footprint.
