Acer Malaysia has dropped the fresh new Acerpure AQUA WP5 Hot & Cold RO Water Purifier for a cleaner and safer drinking water without the hassle of complicated installations or bulky designs.
Similar to other models in the family, the WP5 is a plug-and-play system that doesn’t require a fixed water line, as you can just place it anywhere (preferably close to a power line, still) and it will be ready to provide you with some fresh RO water. The design is compact too, with a matte black finish that blends nicely into most modern kitchens.
Another nice touch is the two 1.6L detachable jugs. Instead of waiting forever for filtered water, these jugs fill up automatically from the bottom once placed on the dock. You can pop them in the fridge, carry them around the house, or just pour straight away.
On the convenience side, the WP5 gives you precise control over both temperature and volume. You can go as cold as 5°C or crank it up to boiling hot at 99°C, with presets for everything from baby formula (45°C) to cup noodles (99°C). Plus, you can fine-tune by the degree and set volumes from 150ml to nearly a liter, which is perfect for different needs.
The advanced filtration is enabled by the 5-in-1 RO filter with double UVC LED sterilization, which knocks out things like chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, bacteria, and even viruses – it’s been certified by NSF and SGS, claiming 99.9% effectiveness. The filter itself lasts around 12 months, and when it’s time to replace it, you just twist in a new one from Acer Malaysia.
