TerraMaster has just unveiled its latest F4-424 Pro NAS tailored to meet the performance demand of both individual users and businesses.
For starters, the new F4-424 Pro will be featuring the TOS 5.1 operating system that ensures a seamless upgrade path to the latest TOS 6 in the future. Powered by an Intel Core i3 CPU, the NAS also packs an integrated UHD GPU running at 1.25GHz and a 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory.
On top of that, it is equipped with dual 2.5 GbE interfaces to reach a linear data transmission speed of 283 MB/s, alongside dual USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps interface for quick data transfer between users’ NAS and external devices.
To make the installation of M.2 SSDs quick and simple, the brand has also incorporated hand-tightened screws and a side-sliding cover for the F4-424 Pro chassis which can be pushed aside easily to install M.2 SSDs.
In terms of backup features, it has Centralized Backup, Duple Backup, CloudSync, and so on while having support for various RAID types which include RAID 0/1/5/6/10/JBOD/Single, and TRAID.
Not only that, but the F4-424 Pro also adopts a new structure that boasts enhanced shock-absorbing measures and specialized sound-absorbing panels that ensure a low noise level of only 21dB(a) in standby mode.
