A great number of new products have been showcased by Samsung during the CES 2024 week and of course, we can forget the desktop gamers as the Odyssey gaming monitor family is getting some new OLED selections this year. Let’s find out who are they.

Samsung Odyssey OLED Gaming Monitors CES 2024

Practically speaking, these are some of the classic models that one may be already familiar with – the OLED G9 rocking that monstrous 5120×1440 resolution and 32:9 aspect ratio and the OLED G8 which now occupies the space of Samsung’s 1st 4K 16:9 OLED gaming monitor and both of them carrying 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time.

On the other hand, the OLEG G6 offers a strong QHD + 360Hz + 0.03ms combo at the modern sweet spot of 27 inches.

All three of them feature the new OLED Glare-Free technology that cuts down on light reflections and also are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 offering accurate and delicate contrast control while the usual AMD FreeSync Premium Pro removes tearing and provides a buttery smooth gaming experience.

I/O ports come in a wide selection of 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB Hub. Additionally, adjust the monitor to your liking thanks to the stand allowing tilt, swivel, and pivot. Mounting it is also a breeze thanks to the VESA mount-compliant back.

Some unique functions have been implemented in the OLED G9 and OLED G8 as well which include Multi Control, the bridging function that links other Galaxy devices and allows seamless image and text transfer between them, and also the Samsung SmartThings hub for an easy overview of all your SmartThings-enabled Samsung appliances in your premise.

On the other hand, the duo is natively integrated with Samsung Smart TV and Gaming Hub features, making the need for a PC or console for gaming an optional instead of a must.
