The ROG Raikiri II Pro PC has been announced globally today, as the new-gen premium-tier wireless controller now comes with faster response times, deeper customization, and longer battery life.

This model carries an 8K polling rate and is usable with the ROG SpeedNova 2.4GHz, while all buttons utilize micro switches for quicker actuation and more tactile feedback. The controller also features Dual Mode Triggers, allowing players to instantly switch between short-travel micro-switch triggers for competitive shooters and full-travel TMR sensor triggers that are better suited for racing games and other genres.

The joysticks are hot-swappable TMR modules with superior durability and are anti-drift while consuming less power than traditional designs. ASUS includes 2 sets of joystick modules with different actuation forces – a standard 120gf set and a lighter 50gf option – so users can choose the feel that best matches their preferences. 4 removable rear buttons and 2 additional claw bumpers can also be configured to suit different grip styles, with every face and rear button fully remappable.

At the center of the controller, there’s the full-color display that lets users quickly remap buttons, calibrate joysticks, adjust vibration strength, customize lighting effects, control display brightness, and switch between up to 5 saved profiles directly from the controller. For more adjustments and tunings, ASUS Gear Link supports it out of the box with no software installation.

Battery-wise, it is claimed to offer up to 79 hours of gameplay over the 2.4GHz wireless connection on a single charge.
