ROG Malaysia has announced the arrival of the ROG NUC 2025 model to provide a strong gaming performance while prioritizing system size to the brim.
For a device of this size, one has to expect that you can’t really fit desktop components therefore it runs on “mobile hardware” instead, but it is equally impressive with the up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU in addition to a maximum of 96GB DDR5-6400 RAM.
But of course, there’s other GPU options for smaller budgets too, from the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 to the RTX 5060 (All Laptop GPU version) for a streamlined access of modern games through DLSS 4 MFG as well as rated for running AI workflows and backends thanks to native NVIDIA Inference Microservices (NIM) support.
Thermals is a great aspect too, as the QuietFlow cooling system features a triple-fan setup and dual vapor chambers to maintain top performance with minimal noise while connectivity is also next-gen ready, with Bluetooth 5.4, Intel WiFi 7 supporting speeds up to 46Gbps, and a wide range of I/O including Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, six 10Gbps USB ports, and customizable ARGB lighting powered by Aura Sync.
The modular chassis, measuring just 282 x 187.7 x 56.5mm, allows for tool-free access and future upgrades, making it not only powerful out of the box but also flexible long-term.
As a bonus for creators, ASUS is bundling a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with eligible purchases, which is nice (because you only see this in ProArt products most of the time).
