At the recent Gamescom 2025, ROG showcased its latest ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG monitors, boasting Tandem OLED technology for higher peak brightness, wider color volume, and enhanced durability compared to the previous WOLED models.
ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W
The new 26.5-inch ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W debuts as the fastest OLED monitor currently, with a native 540Hz refresh rate and a versatile dual mode for seamless switching between QHD@540Hz and HD@720Hz. Powered by Tandem WOLED technology and a TrueBlack Glossy coating, it delivers brighter visuals, deeper blacks, and a longer OLED lifespan than its predecessors.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 (80Gbps), HDMI 2.1, and a tripod socket, while VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black, 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, true 10-bit color, and Delta E<2 accuracy ensure impressive HDR and precise color performance. Design-wise, the monitor is finished with a sturdy silver stand and a half-transparent back panel. In addition, the OLED Care Pro suite features a Neo Proximity Sensor that dims or wakes the screen based on user presence.
ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG
Moving on, the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG is a 26.5-inch QHD monitor featuring a blazing 280Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and a 30% smaller stand for a more compact setup. It is equipped with the latest Tandem OLED technology, alongside VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black, 99.5% DCI-P3, and true 10-bit color to bring stunning HDR visuals for both gaming and creative work. For connectivity, it packs DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, USB Hub, and a tripod socket.
Not only that, ROG also showcased the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2, a 26.5-inch QHD WOLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. It boasts TrueBlack Glossy coating for sharper contrast, VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black, 99% DCI-P3, and the Neo Proximity Sensor. Like its sibling, this monitor features a compact stand, versatile connectivity, and a tripod socket.
