Razorpay Curlec has announced they have enabled DuitNow Pay to give Malaysian businesses a more streamlined way to handle online payments.
The new integration, among the first from a Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet) participant, brings online banking and e-wallet payments together in a single checkout experience. Instead of scrolling through a long list of payment options, customers can simply search for their preferred bank or e-wallet and complete the payment from there.
The checkout is also designed with mobile users in mind, with 78% of online checkouts now taking place on smartphones. Customers can approve payments through their own banking apps without entering sensitive card details at checkout, adding another layer of familiarity and security to the process.
Razorpay Curlec also says DuitNow Pay will gain more capabilities in the future, including saved payment details and recurring payments for subscriptions, instalments and scheduled billing.
For businesses, the setup is designed to be a one-time integration. Once DuitNow Pay is enabled through the Razorpay Curlec plug-in, future capabilities added to the PayNet platform will be made available automatically.
