Razer has just pulled the wraps off the DeathAdder V4 Pro, armed with the latest tech and optimizations built from the feedback of various pro players and gamers around the world, so that it is ready to tackle both casual and world-class competition.
To start, the new model houses the Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen 2 that provides an additional 63% better wireless efficiency and 37% lower latency comapred to last gen, while supporting 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless mode. You also get up to 150 hours of battery life at 1000 Hz, giving players lasting power for extended sessions in the “not-so-competitive” games.
Scroll wheel deterioration is a common problem, so here we have the Razer Optical Scroll Wheel offering a more precise and durable alternative while hosting that consistent tactile feel, and there’s the Razer Gen-4 Optical Mouse Switches rated for 100M clicks.
Sensor-wise, the Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen-2 steps in with up to 45,000 DPI, 900 IPS, and 85 G acceleration, hitting 99.8% resolution accuracy. Features like Dynamic Sensitivity, Mouse Rotation, and Sensitivity Matcher cater to fine-tuned customization for competitive players.
Despite all this tech, the DeathAdder V4 Pro weighs in at just 56 grams (black) or 57 grams (white), while the iconic ergonomic design returns with subtle refinements like split side buttons to reduce misclicks and larger PTFE feet for smoother gliding. The shell is made using over 67% bio-based and recycled plastics, reflecting Razer’s growing focus on sustainability without sacrificing durability or performance.
