Breaking away from the standard ‘fish tank’ layout, the Phanteks EX5 lineup uses a compartmentalized chassis design that directs fresh airflow to individual components while efficiently exhausting heat, reducing the need for additional case fans. A pre-installed rear mainboard fan provides direct airflow to the VRM and RAM while helping move GPU heat away from surrounding components.
The chassis also supports GPUs up to 358mm in length and 360mm radiators across all models, while offering ample cable-management space, integrated ARGB lighting, high-speed 20Gbps USB Type-C, dual USB 3.0 ports, and a server-grade GPU bracket for secure mounting.

The lineup consists of the EX5, EX5 PLUS, and EX5 MAX, with the latter two featuring an integrated Glacier One 360S25-SE AIO liquid cooler with concealed tubing for a cleaner ‘no-tubes’ appearance.
The AIO uses a single-frame S25 ARGB fan assembly with a single cable to simplify installation and reduce cable clutter, while its large copper base and fin array are designed to improve cooling for high-end CPUs. The EX5 PLUS and EX5 MAX also support NEXLINQ for centralized fan and lighting control, while the integrated ARGB lighting can be synchronized through compatible motherboards or the optional NEXLINQ ecosystem.
