There used to be a complaint made by a subset of gamers who had the chance and the pocket to grab the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs at launch, particularly the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080. Regardless of the model, what they discovered is that for games that relied on the PhysX engine dedicated to physics simulations, the games simply won’t work, and that’s because Team Green removed that without explicitly telling the world sometime during February.

Fast forward to today, NVIDIA has re-added 32-bit PhysX support to the whole lineup, with the last PhysX-related news being the open-source release of the same SDK.

Currently, selected games are confirmed to run by Team Green themselves, and they are:

  • Alice: Madness Returns
  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Batman: Arkham Origins
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum (Coming in Q1 2026)
  • Borderlands 2
