MSI’s latest monitor release is about the Mac-optimized PRO MAX series monitors that can both visually and technically integrate with modern Apple desktop ecosystems.
The flagship model is the PRO MAX 271UPXW that comes with a 6.5-inch 4th-Gen QD-OLED panel layered with a protective DarkArmor anti-reflection film that achieves 40-percent deeper black levels. It runs at 4K resolution, outputting 166 PPI pixel density, and achieves a factory-calibrated Delta-E ≤ 2 score with dual sRGB and DCI-P3 color profiles, backed by Pantone and Pantone SkinTone validation.
Uniform Luminance technology runs concurrently across the panel to eliminate brightness fluctuations, while an integrated AI Care Sensor dynamically scales panel parameters based on ambient studio lighting.
The custom MSI M-Mate application enables software-level monitor configuration from macOS desktops, providing features like color profiles synchronization across interconnected screens, 3-device KVM, PiP, and PbP modes, etc. Physical input channels feature two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and a dual USB Type-C matrix where the primary line supplies 98W Power Delivery and 4K video over a single cable while the secondary port runs at 15W.
Meanwhile, the budget-oriented PRO MAX 271QPHW E14 shifts towards a 27-inch WQHD IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, and comes with EyesErgo+ eye-protection suite backed by a hardware-level Circular Polarized panel that alters linear light waves to mimic natural daylight and minimize optical fatigue. Supporting M-Mate as well, it is given an adjustable ergonomic utility stand, integrated multi-system KVM hardware, and a single-cable USB Type-C hub configuration operating at 65W Power Delivery.
