MSI has announced a total of 3 products that have managed to grab several “Best of CES 2021” awards that consist of convertible laptops, a dock station, and a pen. All of these are aimed at professional business users to boost productivity while striking a superior elegant look.
Starting off is the Summit E13 Evo Flip and Summit E16 Flip 2-in-1 convertible laptop that expresses the perfectionist Fibonacci Spiral. Within a 13-inch form factor, the 16:10 display expresses the golden ratio of how a laptop’s screen is supposed to be all fitted within a CNC machined chassis with a 360-degree hinge for streamlining any tasks while the Ink Black and Pure White variations showcase the taste of business elites. For the hardware, it packs an 11th gen Intel Core i7 CPU with Xe graphics (Extra dedicated NVIDIA GPU for the Summit E16 Flip), 20 hours battery, Thunderbolt 4, PCIe 4.0, and WiFi-6E antennas – all of these which are a standard that needs to be achieved for that Intel Evo certification. Additionally, it also comes with a TPM 2.0 onboard hardware encryption chip to protect sensitive data and the webcam has been fitted with quality-of-life functions such as ON/OFF hotkeys, physical switch, and indicator light. Rounding off the communications hardware is the AI noise-canceling microphone.

Accompanying the Summit Flip convertibles is the new MSI Pen, a digital stylus that is able to operate at 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity while being super responsive thanks to MPP 2.0 technology. Aside from typical functions such as acting as a presentation remote, the internal driver of the Summit Flip laptops is capable of showing the battery life of the MSI Pen so users are notified constantly when it is time to give them a juice up. The design is based on fountain pens so executives that often signed with them can easily adapt to the holding gesture of the stylus as well.
Lastly, the USB-C Docking Station Gen 2 is the go-to laptop-to-desktop transformation hub made by MSI that enables office elites to work more efficiently. The ports provided are of wide range and multi-functional that allows users to just pluck in everything into a single hub and into their laptop should they required to work lots of external devices.
