This AI-ready unit uses the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H as the central processor, and it comes with Intel Arc Graphics and an NPU to deliver up to 99 TOPS of AI performance. Rather than depending entirely on cloud services, users can run AI workloads directly on the machine for faster responses while keeping sensitive data local. As for supported workloads, MINIX mentioned local AI inference, AI-assisted content creation, intelligent image and video editing, and AI software development.

For I/O, it can do 4x displays via HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and Thunderbolt 4 outputs, making it well suited for creative professionals, software developers, financial analysts, and users who simply benefit from having multiple screens open at once. As for memory, you can find 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD to start, with the system supporting a maximum of 128GB RAM and a second PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Connectivity-wise, there are two 2.5Gb Ethernet ports and three USB-A 3.2 alongside Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and Thunderbolt 4. Built to sustain demanding workloads over extended periods, the metal enclosure works together with a vapor chamber cooling solution to efficiently dissipate heat.
The MINIX EU928-AI is available through MINIX’s global sales channels starting today.
