LIAN LI has launched its latest fully modular SFX PSU: the SP850, which also comes with a 12VHPWR connector right out of the box. Let’s have a look at what it has to offer.
The new SP850 is equipped with a 92mm hydraulic bearing fan that operates at zero RPM until the unit reaches 40% load or 60°C ambient temperature, then it will start spinning at 2800 RPM while maintaining a maximum noise level of 40.6 dBA. Furthermore, the PSU’s protection features have been upgraded as well, with an extra inrush current limiter included now.
Packed with a 400mm 16 AWG thick 12VHPWR PCIe 5.0 compatible connector, the SP850 is capable of delivering adequate power for the latest graphics cards on the market currently and is ready for any next-gen upgrades.
Just like many other LIAN LI case exteriors, the SP850 also boasts the iconic sleek aluminum and steel housing. The black edition has a brushed aluminum finish while the white one is powder coated with silver accents. Both colors come with matching braided cables for adaptability and flexibility in a clean build.
