LG has announced yet another ultra-wide gaming display for the UltraGear family and that’s the 49GR85DC.
The 49GR85DC utilizes a 1000R curved form factor and has a 32:9 aspect ratio at 49 inches that goes with a super high 240Hz refresh rate. It is also designed to replace a dual 16:9 monitor setup thanks to its long horizontal estate. It also has 3000:1 contrast ratio and 1000-nit peak brightness.
Resolution wise it is at 5120×1440 and it is VESA DisplayHDR1000 certified too. Additionally, it can do Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes to facilitate a more flexible and easier setup for dual system connections.
Connectivity wise, it can take in DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 for the latest GPUs and gaming consoles out there. Also, the monitor enhances the gaming experience with its LED Hexagon backlighting and support for DTS Headphone:X.
The LG UltraGear 49GR85DC is currently available in the US and coming soon in Europe this month and in Asia later this year. So, Malaysians will need to wait for some time.
