Lexar has quite a handful of products on display during our visit to their booth at Computex 2023, notably their blazing-fast Gen4 SSDs which they have claimed to deliver the true Gen4 SSD speed. There are, of course, other products that are on display as well, and here are the details.

Lexar NM800 PRO and NM790 on display

First off, we have the NM800 PRO M.2 2280 SSD which has plenty of read and write speed to spare. According to Lexar, many of the Gen4 SSDs we’ve seen today don’t run at the optimal speed because it only utilizes a small fraction of the resources that is available. With the NM800 PRO M.2 2280 SSD, Lexar is able to achieve an impressive read and write speed at 7500MB/s and 6500MB/s respectively, followed by the NM790 which is not too far behind the NM800 PRO in terms of performance.

The NM800 PRO is available in two variants, the base model that doesn’t have a heatsink and the model that comes with a heatsink to cater to different user groups. As most of the motherboards nowadays will usually come with a reasonable M.2 SSD heatsink, the base NM800 PRO and NM790 are more suitable for this use case.

Professional CFexpress Type B Diamond and Gold Series on display

Up next is the list of memory cards that are on display, which are also the products that Lexar is well known among users in the videography and photography industry. The main highlight this time is the Professional CFexpress Type B which is capable of up to 1900MB/s and 1700MB/s read and write speed. The sustained write speed depends on the model of course, with the Diamond series having the highest minimum sustained write speed of 1600MB/s and the Gold series with a minimum sustained write speed of 1000MB/s.

Lexar DDR5 and DDR4 memory kits on display

There are no new memory modules for Computex this time but Lexar still has some of their DDR4 and DDR5 memory kits set for display. Here we can see the ARES DDR5 and ARES RGB DDR5 for the newer AMD AM5 and Intel LGA1700 platform, as well as the ARES RGB DDR4 and THOR DDR4 for systems that use DDR4 memory.
