Lenovo has finally announced they are shipping the previously-revealed ThinkPad X1 Fold dual-screen laptop starting today.
Last shown off in September 2022 as a prototype, it took them more than a year to finally get the machine into the market but better late than never.
Anyway, the retail unit now packs a better physical design and durability thanks to the comprehensive system verification process. Several enhancements and optimizations are delivered to TrackPoint and AI Vision for better user experience as a whole such as highly accurate human presence detection and instant auto lock on leave.
As for the hardware, the 16.3-inch OLED display rocking 2560×2024 resolution is sure one of the unique ones while the system is equipped with the latest Intel mobile CPU alongside up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
The rest of the package is complemented with Wi-Fi 6E and an optional 5G cellular module for fast and reliable Internet access no matter where you are.
Price and Availability
The official retail price for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold in NA starts from USD2,499. Malaysia pricing will be added once the laptop is ready for the local market.
