Lenovo has announced a slew of new infrastructure solutions aimed at helping enterprises modernize their virtualized environments while building toward AI readiness, all without needing to rip out and replace what they’ve already got.

At the hardware level, the new ThinkAgile VX850 V4 is purpose-built for heavily virtualized environments and demanding in-memory workloads, supporting both structured and unstructured data. It’s designed to give businesses a solid foundation for consolidating critical workloads while leaving room to grow into AI-driven applications down the line.

On the services side, they cleaned up its deployment options into three clear tiers: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy, and Premier Deploy Plus. All three include a structured readiness setup and expert hardware installation, but Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus go further, offering implementation support and operational handoff assistance to help businesses actually get to production-ready status rather than just having hardware delivered. Premier Deploy Plus adds extended post-deployment support and a one-year infrastructure health assessment, helping catch potential issues early.

Meanwhile, the Express Solutions lineup has been expanded as well. This includes Hyper-V Ready Solutions for Windows Server environments, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization for running VMs alongside containers on one platform, Microsoft Azure Local paired with the ThinkAgile MX V4 for consistent hybrid cloud management, Nutanix Compute Cluster support on ThinkSystem hardware for flexible scaling, and SUSE Virtualization on ThinkSystem V4 for combined VM and container workloads.

Beyond that, Lenovo’s ThinkSystem Storage and ThinkAgile HCI solutions bring in integrated data protection and cyber resilience features, aimed at strengthening ransomware recovery and keeping business-critical data protected and recoverable. Lenovo’s also leaning into open standards through XClarity Controller 3 and XClarity One, giving IT teams a more consistent way to manage and automate infrastructure without getting locked into a single vendor’s ecosystem.
