Lenovo Malaysia has launched a whole lot of new products and gear to benefit gamers in the local market, and they are packed to the brim with the latest hardware.
Legion laptops
First, we have the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16”, 10) leading the pack with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-Series Laptop GPUs configurable up to an RTX 5090, and a 16-inch WQXGA OLED panel pushing refresh rates up to 240 Hz. Keeping it all cool is Lenovo’s advanced Legion thermal system.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (16”, 10) features up to an Intel® Core Ultra 9 275HX and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 5070 paired with a 165 Hz 16-inch WQXGA OLED display. It sports an aggressive new design built around the Coldfront Hyper thermal system, which uses turbocharged fans and oversized 3D copper heat pipes to keep temperatures in check while cutting down noise.
The spotlight also fell on the Lenovo Legion 9i (18”, 10), Lenovo’s most powerful gaming laptop to date, powered by up to an Intel® Core Ultra 9 and RTX 50 Series GPUs. Wrapped in a lightweight forged carbon design, it introduces integrated liquid cooling with the Legion Coldfront Vapor system, smart fan tech, and AI sound sync. The star attraction is its 18″ PureSight display, capable of 4K resolution in 2D and optional 2K 3D support without requiring glasses, thanks to eye-tracking and lenticular lens array technology.
For gamers who prefer a slimmer build, the Lenovo Legion 7i (16”, 10) comes in an all-metal chassis that’s now 7% lighter and 10% thinner, making it ideal for STEM students who want performance without bulk. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5i (15”, 10) is tailored for university gamers outside STEM fields, offering a thinner, lighter design that slips easily into a backpack while still packing up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor.
Handhelds and accessories
Beyond laptops, Lenovo also showed off the Legion Go 2 (8.8”, 2) handheld PC, built with an AMD Ryzen Z2 processor and an OLED display running at 144 Hz. Designed for portable gaming with longer battery life and improved ergonomics, it will hit Malaysian stores in mid-October.
Another handheld option, the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3, offers an 8.8-inch 2.5K display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and LPDDR5X memory with UFS 4.0 storage. With Elite Gaming tech and Ray Tracing, it delivers console-level visuals in a pocket-sized package.
Completing the lineup are the Lenovo Legion Glasses Gen 2, which project a private 126″ virtual screen via micro-OLED displays when connected over USB-C. Lightweight and portable, they extend gaming and streaming beyond traditional displays.
All devices come preloaded with Legion Space, a redesigned gaming hub that centralizes device settings, game libraries, and AI-powered features to elevate gameplay and streaming.
