The clean and minimalistic approach is still here despite numerous past iterations of the K3 base model yet now, the K3 Max emerges as the ultimate model. The 75% layout maintains all essential keys aside from the NumPad while the tri-mode connection allows it to be multi-connected across 3 different devices with cross-platform support too.
One of the key pain points of the original K3 is the use of “costar-like” stabilizers based on old designs but the new ones have been redesigned for little to no ticking. Its super slim profile also means portability – Bring it into your office and take it back home without any hassle too.
And sure enough, it comes with all sorts of foams for dampening purposes, allowing one to work quietly in noise-sensitive areas. Oh, it has RGB as usual, aside from the already well-known hot-swap sockets that let you swap out broken switches or just change to new ones for another typing experience.
The K3 Max is also out-of-the-box compatible with the Keychron Launcher Web Configurator which allows users to remap keys, create macros, fix up some shortcuts, as well as firmware updates when available.
