HP Malaysia has launched the latest model of the ZBook Studio family, the ZBook Studio G9, created for professionals who need a bunch of computing horsepower on the go.

Being the latest guy and the most powerful to date, the G9 is fitted with all sorts of goodies. Starting with the display, it is a 16-inch HP DreamColor display (default option) that comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate on top of the 100% DCI-P3 color gamut which means slick and smooth animations alongside accurate and vivid colors. If this default selection is not within your preference range, you can switch to a 16-inch OLED touchscreen or HP SureView Reflect display that focuses on privacy by limiting the view angle.

Largely similar to the older models in terms of design, you can find the all-aluminum chassis rated with MIL-STD 810 durability hosting all the parts with the total weight coming in at around 1.73kg. Not the best but not the worst, just decent.

Let’s talk about the silicon brains of the G9. Buyers can configure it to go as powerful as the 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor with vPro together with either an NVIDIA RTX A5500 for the massive VRAM capacity and bandwidth or the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti for raw computing power. For the memory options, the system can support up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB of NVMe SSD storage. Chilling the entire system off is a cooling solution consisting of a vapor chamber dissipating heat out to the dual two-sided vents with curved metal fans.

Other notable features include the HP QuickDrop file transferring protocol, Wi-Fi 6E wireless connection, dual-boot Windows 11 / Ubuntu Linux (optional), AI noise suppression mic, RGB backlit keyboard, and more.

Availability

HP Malaysia has confirmed that the Zbook Studio G9 will arrive in the country within this month despite no actual dates to boot at the time of writing. With the month becoming history in just 10 days, it is assumed in the next few following days the price and purchase option will be green-lighted.
