G.SKILL demonstrates overclock memory of up to DDR5-10600 and CAMM2 DDR5-7800 CL36 at COMPUTEX 2024

G.SKILL has recently showcased a range of high-speed overclocked DDR5 memory kits on live demo systems using the latest Intel and AMD platforms at COMPUTEX 2024; let’s take a look at what’s on the table.

With the goal of reaching the highest speed possible, the brand introduces a 32GB (16GBx2) capacity memory kit running at an impressive speed of DDR5-10600, paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 8500G processor and ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard.

The next featured memory kit is a high frequency, low latency combo one that runs at DDR5-9000 CL38-52-52-143 with a 48GB (24GBx2) capacity, showcased on an Intel Core i9-14900K desktop processor and ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard.

With the introduction of the new CAMM2 module standard, G.SKILL also shows off a CAMM2 module running at DDR5-7800 CL36 48GB memory module on an Intel Core i9-14900KF processor and ASUS ROG Z790 Lengshuikeng Concept motherboard.

Also, there’s the Zeta R5 Neo series R-DIMM DDR5 with a low latency of DDR5-8000 CL38-48-48-127 96GB (24GBx4) memory kit featured on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X processor and ASUS Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI motherboard.

Not only that, but G.SKILL also exhibited the impact of overclocked memory speeds on AI workload performance by comparing DDR5-8200 vs DDR5-5200 U-DIMM and DDR5-6600 vs DDR5-4800 R-DIMM, which used AI Benchmark Alpha for image recognition, AI Computer Vision Benchmark by UL Procyon for image generation, and Llama.cpp Benchmark for text generation inference performance.
