NGO Gorgeous Geeks, renowned for empowering women through technology, has recently celebrated their 15 years of effort and journey in the tech space.

Gorgeous Geeks 15th Year Anniversary Event 1

Created to encourage the use of technology as part of the daily life of women’s lifestyles, the event was graced by patrons like Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, Managing Partner at Future Ready Consulting, and Anne Abraham, founder and Chairperson at LeadWomen alongside TPr. Wee Huay Neo, Advisor at PIKOM E-Commerce Malaysia, and Datuk Ng Wan Peng, Director at Digital Penang.

The celebration doesn’t just stop in sharing the experience and lessons learned throughout the years, but also giving back to the community by donating a total of 10 laptops towards 4 charities that are serving underprivileged children which are Dignity for Children Foundation, House of Joy, Yayasan Sunbeams Homes, and Community at Heart.

Aside from helping the less fortunate gain access to important tools during the digital age, Gorgeous Geeks continues to strife for the goal of equipping women with vital tech skills and knowledge through its activities, programs, causes, and contributions.

With over 3,000 women in 8 cities participating in a large variety of events, workshops, and conferences, 100% of attendees expressed positivity and net gain in digital knowledge upon finishing the respective courses.
