Garena has recently announced the return of the Free Fire Challengers Series, starting on 12 June 2022, with a total prize pool of USD$30,000(RM131,000).
In this season, Free Fire teams from 4 regions: Malaysia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka — will be competing for the title of Free Fire Challengers Series champion. This tournament kicks off a journey that will highlight the abilities of local esports teams from Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka, as well as provide them the opportunity to play on a global level.
As with prior editions, six seeded teams from the Challengers Series Season 2 will be joining the Qualifier Finals Stage of the next MCP (Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines) Majors iteration that will determine the region’s representative for the next Free Fire World Series.
The Challengers Series Season 2 In-game Qualifiers registration will be open from 9 June to 11 June, with a minimum requirement of Level 20 and Platinum 1 rank in Battle Royale mode. Registered teams will then be battling each other on 12 June for a spot in the Qualifier Finals.
Following that, the top 24 teams from the previous round will play in the Qualifier Finals on 18 June to 19 June, with only the top 18 will advancing to the League Circuit for a chance to compete in the Grand Finals on 30 July to 31 July.
