Cooler Master has officially announces the sponsorship of The Face Gaming. The Face Gaming is probably Malaysia’s fastest rising esports team, in Steam’s most popular game ever – PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG). And the most interesting tidbit about them is that The Face Gaming isn’t even only an eSports team. The group was formed for streaming games.
The Face Gaming (oLo) is founded by Ahmad “Sandman13” Tarmizi, who has been gaming since he was a kindergartener. His streaming journey started on Twitch in 2016, but he moved over to Facebook for a wider Malaysian audience. He is now a full-time streamer with a passion for FPS games.
The PUBG squad of The Face Gaming was originally consists of Afiq “chiifenrir” Afzainizam, the team captain, Mohammad Azali“rascal_ix” Ismail, Farhan “10ktapping” Johari, andNurHilman “K2White” Ehsan, a group of old friends and hot-blooded PC enthusiasts. Recently,MuhamedZackriMuizz“Revoluzion” Mohamed Yasinhas been added to the team. Experienced in FPS games like Overwatch, CS:GO and H1:Z1, the team was attracted to the eSports-ready battle royale’s heavy reliance on luck, making the game feel more balanced than the other games where you can pick your best hero or favorite weapon and dominate the game.
The Face Gaming’s PUBG squad was formed at the ZOTAC LAN Party, where they went in just for fun but came out victorious over the other squads present. Their run at Malaysia Cyber Games wasn’t nearly as successful, but they still made it to the Top 20 teams at the prestigious event. They didn’t give up just yet, participating in the MET Community Cup last 16thMarch with a comeback victory for the newly established team. This scored them an invitation to the PUBG Australia Invitational 2018 tournament, battling the top 20 teams in the region. They came out 16th out of the 20 teams there, but The Face Gaming is always hungry for more. Recently the clinched the Top Placing of the Logitech G PUBG Masters 2018 Qualifier.
Cooler Master supports The Face Gaming as they strive to achieve their gaming aspirations and goals by supplying the team with its Case, Power Supply, Thermal Solutions and Peripherals to allow them to pursue their dreams further.
