ByteDance’s subsidiary, BytePlus, has released the new Seedance 1.5 Pro video generation AI model capable of unifying realistic visuals with industry-leading audio-visual synchronization, while also stepping up multi-speaker, multilingual dialogue, cinematic consistency, and shot-level control. In practical terms, it means AI-generated scenes that look and sound like they belong together, instead of feeling stitched up after the fact.
The model is said to drastically cut down post-editing work, especially for dialogue-heavy content, while making AI video outputs feel more performance-ready right out of the model by aligning dialogue, environmental audio, music, vocals, and expressive timing down to the millisecond.
It’s also a language master thanks to the support of English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese, Mandarin, and even regional dialects in single and multi-speaking modes. For visuals, it is now cleaner with fewer artifacts, more stable lighting, consistent composition, and better color handling across different styles and scenes, while directorial controls can now understand complex prompts more reliably, giving creators predictable camera movements like pans, zooms, and tracking shots, along with better control over character actions, timing, pacing, and even integrated visual effects.
BytePlus says the model is built for real-world creative and enterprise workflows, from advertising and marketing to e-commerce, training, education, and short-form entertainment, where multilingual output and fast iteration matter. By strengthening fundamentals like natural dialogue, temporal consistency, and cinematic stability, the model aims to make AI video generation more dependable and scalable, rather than just impressive in demos.
Seedance 1.5 pro is available starting today, with individual users able to try it through the ModelArk Experience Center, while enterprise users can access the API via the BytePlus console beginning December 24.
