Taiwan-based manufacturer BIOSTAR has announced 3 new motherboards and 1 new SSD to add on their latest lineup.
The 3 new motherboards are part of the RACING series which debut back in 2016, sporting a streamlined look while the new SSD expands into a higher tier named the M700 series, an upgrade from the previous M500 line of products.
BIOSTAR RACING X570GTA
The BIOSTAR RACING X570GTA supports the 2nd and 3rd generation Ryzen processors in ATX form factor, focusing on durability, build quality, and performance. Aside from the well-known PCIe 4.0 standards, BIOSTAR toughens up the x16 slot with their Iron Slot protection, preventing potential bends thus extending longevity even with the use of heavy GPUs.It also supports memory speed over 4000+MHz with its 4-DIMM DDR4 design for optimal performance.
The design of the motherboard comes black with grey stripes with a slight touch of yellowish gold. It also comes with an M.2 heatsink for additional cooling and onboard RGB lighting expands customizations for users to tinker and adjust to their likings. Want more? 5V and 12V RGB headers are available as well, which can be controlled through BIOSTAR’s software.
BIOSTAR RACING B450GT3
Up next is the BIOSTAR RACING B450GT3 comes in a micro-ATX form factor that supports up to the 3rd generation Ryzen processors while sporting the signature black and grey striped look.
The main attraction of this motherboard is the exclusive utility FLY.NET that combines with Realtek RTL8118AS Dragon Gaming LAN to improve the overall connectivity for all your gaming needs without sacrificing speed and security. Alongside it is the Realtek ALC1150 with Hi-Fi 7.1 channel HD audio for true sound immersions, Dual BIOS Auto-Recovery and the durable Iron Slot x16 lane is present as well.
Other specifications include supporting up to 64GB of DDR4 at 3200MHz (with overclocking) with 4-DIMM configuration, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) port in both Type-A and Type-C, one M.2 slot and 6 SATA III connectors.
BIOSTAR RACING B365GTA
BIOSTAR got the Intel squad covered as well. The RACING B365GTA is equipped with the B365 chipset and supports the 8th and 9th Gen processors while packing quite a punch with the latest features and functionalities. Aesthetic-wise, it looks more or less the same with other RACING series ATX motherboards.
The RACING B365GTA covers the basics in terms of specifications as it has an M.2 slot supporting Intel’s Optane Memory Technology, up to 64GB of DDR4 memory across over 4-DIMMs, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, Iron Slot x16 lane, Racing Armor, A.I Fan, Super Lan Surge Protection, VIVID LED DJ, and LED ROCK ZONE.
BIOSTAR M700 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
Last on the list is BIOSTAR’s latest series M700 in the SSD market. Sporting an M.2 form factor and utilizing NMVe 1.3 protocol, it has capacities ranging from 256GB up to 1TB of storage. Its black color and durable build allow it to blend in with any build easily and seamlessly.
Most users will find it satisfying with its higher transfer speed of up to 2000MB/s sequential read and up to 1650MB/s sequential write. On paper, this seems to be using PCIe Gen 3 x2 lanes.
Availability for the new hardware has not been announced yet and any new information will be updated accordingly to this news.
