BIOSTAR has announced its latest EdgeComp MT-N150, a compact edge computing system designed for intelligent security, surveillance, and smart city applications, with flexible AI accelerator support for workloads such as facial recognition, crowd monitoring, fire and smoke detection, PPE detection, and license plate recognition.

Powered by the Intel Twin Lake N150 quad-core processor with speeds of up to 3.6GHz and a 6W power profile, the new EdgeComp MT-N150 delivers efficient edge computing in a compact 196.5 × 193 × 45mm form factor.
It supports DEEPX and MemryX AI accelerators, allowing flexible deployment across smart surveillance, public safety, industrial monitoring, and critical infrastructure applications while processing AI workloads locally for faster, more responsive analysis.

On top of that, the system supports up to 16GB DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM, alongside SATA III and M.2 storage options, while flexible power inputs include 9–24V DC and USB-C PD Sink at 20V/5A.
Connectivity options include dual GbE LAN, optional 4G/5G via an M.2 Key-B slot, and optional Wi-Fi/Bluetooth through an M.2 Key-E slot, providing flexibility for various network environments. For monitoring and control, the MT-N150 also supports up to three displays via two HDMI ports and USB-C DisplayPort output.
