BIOSTAR has launched the latest EdgeComp MS-NAT4000, a compact edge AI computing system powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 module, delivering high-performance AI processing, real-time sensor intelligence, and on-device generative AI capabilities for system integrators, developers, and industries deploying intelligent automation and autonomous solutions.

Powered by NVIDIA Blackwell architecture via the Jetson Thor T4000 module, the BIOSTAR EdgeComp MS-NAT4000 delivers up to 1200 TFLOPS of FP4 AI computing performance, providing up to 4.3x higher performance and 3.5x greater energy efficiency compared to AGX Orin.
Featuring 64GB of 256-bit LPDDR5X memory and a 12-core Arm CPU, the system supports advanced AI workloads which include LLMs, vision-language models, AI agents, real-time inference, and next-generation computer vision applications.
The architecture enables AI models to operate locally at the edge, minimizing reliance on cloud-based processing while enhancing responsiveness, security, and deployment flexibility. This edge-based approach allows industrial and autonomous systems to quickly analyze data, adapt to changing environments, and make real-time decisions without the delays associated with remote computing.

To handle intensive sensor and visual data processing, the system is also equipped with two 5 GbE LAN ports and one QSFP28 connector, supporting up to three 25 GbE network connections.
Together with NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge technology, the platform enables efficient high-bandwidth data acquisition and processing for applications such as multi-camera inspection, robotic vision, intelligent surveillance, and other sensor-heavy AI solutions.

Despite having a compact 192 x 154 x 80 mm form factor, the MS-NAT4000 support supports M.2 Key M PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe storage, dual SATA III ports with optional SSD hot-swap capability, M.2 Key B expansion for LTE/5G modules, and M.2 Key E support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Connectivity-wise, it includes HDMI output supporting up to 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz, DisplayPort 1.4a, four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port for system flashing, dual RS232/422/485 COM interfaces, audio input/output, TPM 2.0 security support, and a 12–36V DC terminal block designed for industrial power requirements.

Engineered for reliable operation in challenging environments, the MS-NAT4000 supports JetPack 7.1, Linux Kernel 6.8, and Ubuntu 24.04. Powered by a 240W adapter, the system operates within a 0°C to 50°C temperature range and is built to withstand 5% to 90% humidity, 5 Grms vibration, and 30G shock conditions, making it suitable for demanding edge deployments.
