BIOSTAR has introduced its latest industrial solution, the BITWL-150, a compact yet powerful motherboard designed to tackle the demands of modern system integration and edge computing.
The company, best known for its industrial motherboards, edge computing solutions, graphics cards, and storage devices, is marketing the BITWL-150 as a versatile platform capable of handling everything from factory automation and HMI systems to digital signage and local data processing. At just 10x10cm, it’s small enough for space-constrained environments but built tough to deliver reliable performance where uptime and stability are critical.
Powered by Intel’s Twin Lake N150 processor, the board offers quad-core speeds up to 3.6GHz and supports DDR5-4800MHz memory up to 16GB, giving it enough muscle for real-time control and efficient multitasking. For visual outputs, it supports triple-display setups through HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C, with resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 60Hz, making it suitable for signage and multi-screen industrial dashboards.
Despite its size, connectivity and I/O are fully packed with 2x Intel 2.5GbE LAN, M.2 slots NVMe/SATA storage or Wi-Fi/BT modules, as well as an optional NUC-2LAN add-on card, expanding the list with two extra LAN ports, a COM port, and USB 2.0.
Designed with long-term stability in mind, the BITWL-150 is compatible with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 24H2 and Ubuntu 24.04, making integration into modern deployments straightforward. Whether it’s automation control, edge data caching, or rugged multi-display signage, it strikes a balance of performance, flexibility, and durability in a remarkably small footprint.
