Last Friday, we’re invited to ASUS Malaysia’s office for a showcase a lot of their latest monitors – including the supremely powerful ROG Swift PG27UQ. All of these monitors are already available in Malaysia – or at least soon. monitors that they’re bringing in to the Malaysian market. The latest PG27UQ is the most powerful 144Hz 4K monitor. You really need powerful hardware to run this thing at full speed!

We have the entire price list of all the monitors ASUS has in the market at the end of this page. Same goes to ROG monitors.

ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ

ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ

This is dubbed as the “god of all monitors” as it is using a 27-inch 4K IPS panel, can work up to 144Hz refresh rate and even has HDR support and covers 97% of DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB color spaces.

It has a total of 384 dimming zones which makes the screen’s contrast levels better too.

With that, it has RGB lighting at the back, projection light at the base of the stand and there’s also another projector  at the top. That makes it look like Batman.

ASUS ProART PA329Q

This monitor is meant for the professionals. It’s a 32-inch professional grade IPS monitor with 4K resolution with quantum dot backlight technology. Comes with 99.5% Adobe RGB color space and ΔE<2, flicker-free, low blue light with TUV certification.

ASUS ProART PA329Q

At the left side, the I/O port at the left side with 3x USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a full-size SD card reader. The SD card reader is perfect as people like my photographers don’t need to get another dongle.

We did feel that the monitor is a bit too wobbly, so it’s better to get a monitor arm to hold it in place.

ASUS ZenScreen MB16A

ASUS ZenScreen MB16A

First off, this is a portable monitor that doesn’t have a touchscreen. We were told that there will be another mother that has touchscreen, but that’s yet to come. This MB16A is connected and powered up via a single USB-C cable, and it works with smartphones like Galaxy S9 as well.

ASUS ZenScreen MB16A
It’s as thin as the USB header.

It has a folio case which means you can just fold it up and protect it while you put it in the bag.

ASUS ZenScreen MB16A

It also ha a ZenScreen pen, which is ironic since this particular model isn’t touch screen. You can, however, use the pen to sign paperwork or prop the screen up by poking it through the hole.

The MB16A is a 15.6-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution. Comes with some gaming features that we’ve seen in other ASUS monitors.
