New ASUS TUF and ROG gaming laptops equipped with latest Intel Tiger Lake CPU and NVIDIA RTX 3050 / 3050 Ti GPU announced

ASUS has revealed lots of new laptops during the ROG Global Launch live stream that have the latest offerings from Intel which is the ‘Tiger Lake-H45’ CPU alongside NVIDIA’s RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti and let’s take a look at all of them.

The new lineup in the TUF family is the TUF Dash that focuses on lightweight and portability while still packing the good points of the TUF Gaming series at just 19.9mm thick with a weight of 2kg. Mind up, the TUF Dash also complies with the MIL-STD-810H tests like its TUF Gaming brother so rest assured that it will definitely survive against accidental drops.

Stepping up a little and you have the new TUF Gaming laptop that is all about simple aesthetics, powerful hardware, and well-built chassis of high endurance. A little bit of update has been given to chassis where a combination of metal and plastic ideology has been combined into the new Eclipse Grey metal that is also fitted with the new TUF logo. Otherwise, they are still as appreciated with the latest computing hardware from Intel and NVIDIA. These will start popping up in the market starting end of May and across the month of June.

While the ROG Strix G15 and G17 are about the same, this time ASUS released an all-new Electro Punk model to spice up gamers that love the cyberpunk aesthetics of Pink Speckle neon pinks and Eclipse Grey as the main body. Completing the whole set are the associated peripherals such as the ROG Ranger Backpack, Mousepad, and ROG Strix Impact II Gaming Mouse in Electro Punk fashion.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 2021 models got a bit of a hardware update too aside from the GPU refresh. Some parts of the chassis are now featuring either a prismatic logo for Moonlight White color or a prismatic film for AniMe Matrix models while the speaker mesh of both also got the treatment to go by. The AniMe Matrix models are still doing what it is designed for – Playful and stylish dotted patterns for displaying status such as the battery, equalizer, text and animated images. It is also slated to be made available at the end of this month.

Out of all the announced products, it is not surprised that the Zephyrus M16 takes the main spotlight as the world’s 1st 4-sided super-narrow bezel laptop with a 16-inch WQXGA 165Hz fitted into the chassis and achieving 94% screen-to-body ratio in addition to DCI-P3 100% color space. For now, the pricing is not available at the moment but it’ll be revealed around June, ASUS clarifies.
