CES 2023 has officially kicked off and ASUS ROG has announced what they are going to do and move forward with their gaming laptops with each tier receiving different benefits in order to realize their best and cater to the correct user base.
But let’s start with something general which is applicable to almost all of the new machines for this post which is the ROG Nebula Display – their in-house IPS panel touted to produce colors and brightness that can rival the qualities of OLED screens and the premium version ROG Nebula Display HDR.
As its name suggests, the HDR version of the Nebula Display is designed to provide the best HDR gaming and visual content experience as it is certified for DisplayHDR1000 and can go as bright as 1100 nits with up to 1024 local dimming zones for maximum uniformity across each part of the screen.
Besides the existing products, ASUS ROG has revealed what machines will have the new standard and HDR version of the Nebula Display optional upgrades during purchase.
