ASUS has just introduced a new Beige colorway for the PA401 Wood Edition PC case, along with Retro Brown and Modern Black options for the PA602 Wood Edition.
To begin with, both the ASUS ProArt PA401 and PA602 Wood Edition cases feature FSC-certified wooden front panels that highlight their premium, eco-conscious design. The wood undergoes thermowood treatment for resistance against insects, humidity, and heat, along with a dual-coating process for a sleek, durable finish suited for any environment.
As mentioned, the brand offers several color options for the PA401 and PA602 Wood Edition cases, including the new Beige, Retro Brown, and Modern Black finishes alongside the standard Black variant. The PA401’s new Beige edition stands out with its refined ash wood front panel and clean, modern look, complemented by two matching 160mm beige front fans and a white cable set.
For cooling, both the PA401 and PA602 come with three pre-installed PWM fans, with the former featuring two front 160mm fans and a rear 120mm fan, while the latter packs two front 200mm fans and a rear 140mm fan. Their front panels also boast integrated PWM control, allowing users to easily toggle between maximum cooling performance and automatic fan speed management with a single button press.
Notably, the PA602 includes an intelligent dust detection system that lights up an LED when its front filter needs cleaning, along with dual air deflectors that direct airflow toward the GPU and CPU to maintain optimal cooling for high-performance builds.
Furthermore, both cases are designed for easy, user-friendly PC building, featuring one-touch side panel release, spacious cable management, and versatile GPU mounting options. The PA401 adds a detachable PSU bracket, tool-free drive installation, and a secure locking latch, while the larger PA602 includes top-mounted carrying handles, built-in wheels, a unified front I/O header, screwdriver-free PCIe installation, and hidden WiFi antenna storage.
Connectivity-wise, the PA401 is equipped with two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a USB 20Gbps Type-C port, whereas the PA602 features two extra USB 2.0 ports.
