ASUS Malaysia has launched a couple of new ProArt series professional monitors for the visual workers of designers and editors alike.

ASUS ProArt Display PA279CRV PA248CRV 2

The duo announced for launching next month are the ProArt Display PA279CRV and PA248CRV coming in 27-inch and 24.1-inch respectively. The former features a 4K panel while the latter hosts WUXGA instead. As the PA279CRV is manufactured with higher quality requirements, it is rated to cover 99% DCI-P3 plus Adobe RGB color gamuts while the PA248CRV comes in at 97% but is still magnificent by their own standards.

Regardless of which one, both of them adhere to the ProArt family of qualifications such as factory-calibrated out of the box and Calman Verified plus with color accuracy of Delta E <2. Making lives easier is the availability of DisplayPort over USB-C with 96W Power Delivery, actual DisplayPort, and USB Hub to hook up all sorts of host machines and external peripherals. The overall design has also been optimized and now comes with a 33% smaller base and 30% slimmer profile plus the ability to pivot either clockwise or counterclockwise for those who prefer to work with vertically long documents and graphics. Despise the base no matter what? Hang it via the integrated VESA wall mount for the cleanest desk setup.

And per usual, any purchase of either the PA279CRV or PA248CRV in select regions will come with a free 3-month subscription plan for Adobe Creative Cloud that contains more than 20 professional applications like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, on top of 100GB of cloud storage. It can be registered under a new account or applied towards an existing account for validity extension too. The redemption period ends on August 31 though.

Availability

Although the launch is imminent for the ASUS ProArt Display PA279CRV and PA248CRV monitors in Malaysia, they still haven’t mentioned the price tag yet so stay tuned.
