Color professionals and content creators with the fattest budget of all, something cool is coming, as ASUS Malaysia announced they will be bringing in the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, the world’s 1st 8K HDR mini LED professional monitor.
This 32-inch 8K HDR panel features a 7680 x 4320 resolution with an impressive 275 pixels per inch which is more than 2x of standard 4K resolution, and thanks to 4032-zone local dimming and mini LED backlighting, the display achieves a peak brightness of 1200 nits and sustained full-screen brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring deep blacks and vibrant highlights without visual artifacts or halo effects.
Aside from supporting Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10, ASUS made sure it is at the cutting edge level by offering 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec. 709 coverage. Each unit is factory pre-calibrated to deliver Delta E<1 color accuracy, while ASUS’s advanced grayscale tracking technology enhances color gradation and uniformity.
It also comes with a built-in motorized flip colorimeter that performs automatic self-calibration by user command or scheduled timeframes, as well as supporting ASUS ProArt Calibration, which stores color profiles directly to the internal scaler IC chip for cross-platform accuracy.
Beyond ASUS’s own tools, the PA32KCX integrates seamlessly with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS for professional hardware calibration workflows, with the ProArt Color Center software further enhances studio environments by allowing centralized remote calibration management.
As for connectivity, users can find 2x Thunderbolt 4 (One for 96W PD, and another for daisy-chaining), 2x HDMI 2.1, and 1x DP 2.1. The integrated auto KVM switch allows users to control two systems with one keyboard and mouse, while Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes make multitasking across inputs seamless.
It is also capable of lt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments, along with a wraparound anti-glare hood and quick-release VESA mount. And as usual, ASUS bundles a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud access code, redeemable until August 31 next year.
