ASUS has recently introduced the ExpertCenter PN55 Mini PC powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, going up to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, while also packing that XDNA 2 NPU capable of delivering up to 55 AI TOPS to handle generative AI tasks without breaking a sweat, even in such a compact form factor.
The Radeon 800M iGPU is an adequate one to help process visuals and related workloads, while the system itself supports up to 96GB of DDR5 memory, so AI workloads, browser tabs, and productivity apps should feel pretty seamless. Meanwhile, Copilot+ features are baked in natively, including Live Captions for multilingual meetings, Cocreator for turning simple prompts into visuals, and Recall for quickly finding past files and content, all while giving users direct access via a Copilot hotkey or even voice commands.
With support for up to four 4K displays and up to six USB ports alongside dual LAN, this thing can easily anchor a serious workstation setup, especially in business environments where multiple screens and constant connectivity are the norm, while the GPU and AI acceleration also help with more demanding tasks like large spreadsheets or AI-assisted content generation.
Additionally, the built-in fingerprint sensor for biometric login, along with fTPM 2.0 for hardware-level protection to go with AMD PRO technologies, integrates enterprise-grade security and remote management, backed by over 3 years of software support, so it’s not just powerful but also built for long-term deployment.
Despite looking simple, it is made to be accessed tool-less, while the compact 130 x 130 x 34mm footprint and lightweight 0.6kg build mean it can fit almost anywhere, including behind monitors, thanks to VESA mounting support. Lastly, the PN55 meets MIL-STD-810H standards for continuous operation in demanding environments.
