ASUS has officially revealed its take on the “storage-enhanced” graphics card selection in the form of the Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD.

ASUS GeForce RRTX 4060 Ti SSD 2

Based on the simple dual-fan design of the DUAL series, you’ll see the back side of the card now has a cut-out that can fit an M.2 2280 SSD into it. While the card itself is PCIe 4.0 by default, if your motherboard’s slot and the SSD are PCIe 5.0 compatible, the SSD itself will be running at PCIe 5.0 speeds without impacting the performance of the GPU.]

Also, you don’t need an additional PCIe power connector for this card as one single cable will do the job just as well.

The card itself is based on the 8GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti though, so make sure to take note of that.

ASUS also made sure that the drive could take advantage of the GPU’s heatsink to keep it constantly cooled, allowing your PCIe 5.0 SSD to unleash the power it was supposed to bring.
