The Roller Champions, a long-awaited free-to-play sports game from Ubisoft, will finally be released on May 25 with its kick-off season.
Players will be competing in two teams of three in this game, with the first to reach five points claiming victory over their opponents. Points can be gained either by throwing the ball into the goal or by running laps around the oval arena while holding the ball. Winning matches and climbing the leaderboards will open doors to more renowned stadiums and leagues, all the way up to the Elite Champions’ league.
The game can be played with friends or with equally skilled opponents through the cross-play matchmaking system. Players can also meet up and practice, or simply enjoy some minigames together thanks to the skatepark which serves as a gathering hub.
The Roller Champions will be available with cross-play on PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (backward compatibility), as well as Windows PC via the Ubisoft Store. On the other hand, the game will be released at a later date on the Nintendo Switch.
