AMD has announced it will be bringing Sunny Gandhi on board as the new Senior Director of Commercial Channel for Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role, he’ll be the one driving channel enablement, pushing for operational excellence, and rolling out sales strategies across AMD’s massive partner network in the region.
Sunny isn’t new to this game either, as he’s got over 15 years of leadership experience across OEMs, distributors, and resellers in APAC, handling everything from product portfolios to channel management. That’s exactly why AMD’s Nick Lazaridis, who heads Sales for the region, says Sunny is the right person to lead the transformation of their commercial channel ecosystem, pointing to his reputation as a results-driven leader and his knack for building collaboration in partner networks.
Sunny himself seems fired up about the new chapter, saying he’s excited to join AMD at such a pivotal time and is ready to work with the team and partners to deliver best-in-class experiences while driving innovation, operational discipline, and shared growth.
With Sunny stepping in to fill the important shoes, Team Red will be focusing more on laying the groundwork for deeper collaboration and stronger partner-driven growth in the APJ region.
