Alibaba has announced QwenWork International, aimed at fast-growing markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Right now it’s available in English and simplified Chinese, with Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean expected to follow.
The platform runs on a subscription plus credit system, with separate plans for individuals and enterprises. You get to choose between two model tiers depending on how demanding your task is. The Standard tier runs Alibaba’s newly released Qwen3.8 Flash model, which cuts token usage by 75% and roughly doubles generation speed compared to the current model, so you’re getting flagship-level capability even for everyday tasks.
Alibaba folded the core capabilities of QoderWork, MuleRun, and Wukong into a single agent you can talk to in plain language. Once you give it permission, it can navigate websites, control your computer, and handle multi-step tasks on your behalf, no scripting required.
Meanwhile, the desktop client gets the new Awareness faeture that gives the agent memory across sessions. You can set your own working style and preferences once, and the agent carries that context forward instead of making you re-explain everything every time you open it up. It’s opt-in and you can turn it off whenever you want, and successful workflows can be saved as reusable skills that get better the more you use them.
The built-in web development piece is pretty strong too, as it doesn’t just output static HTML page but also helping you hook up databases, set up custom domains, and more – all in one flow.Ask it to build and deploy a course homepage for Data Structures and Algorithms, and you get back a live, publicly accessible site with zero coding required. On top of that, it natively generates images, video, and audio, and can understand audio-visual content too, so you’ve got a full multimodal toolkit in one place. It also handles office documents, deep research, voice input, file comprehension, scheduling, browser automation, and authorized local file access on desktop.
For enterprises, QwenWork gives companies another option in an increasingly crowded AI agent market. It supports Google and email sign-up, and Alibaba’s building out a connector framework to plug into more enterprise tools down the line. The international rollout also leans on Alibaba Cloud’s global infrastructure and sales network to reach business customers at scale.
