Acer Malaysia has unleashed new products which see the expansion of the Predator and Nitro monitor line with brand new 4K monitors – Predator XB273K and Acer Nitro XV273K.
The Predator XB273K can be overclocked to 144Hz and has a response time of 4ms. It has NVIDIA G-Sync technology, with no compromises on gaming performances, colour and speed.
The IPS panel covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space. It employs Quantum Dot technology and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification to ensure the better contrast and colour accuracy.
Priced at RM4,599, the Predator XB273K gaming monitor will be available in mid-December 2018 at all Acer Official Online Stores and authorised resellers nationwide.
Acer Nitro XV273K
The Acer Nitro XV273K is designed for outstanding gameplay quality at affordable prices. It has AMD Radeon FreeSync technology and a rapid 120/144Hz refresh rate plus fast Visual Response Boost (VBR) of 1ms.
It also features VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for better contrast and colour accuracy. The built-in Black Boost technology enables gamers to select from 11-levels of dark level adjustments to optimise visual advantage.
Priced at RM2,999, the Acer Nitro XV273K monitor will be available in mid-November 2018 at all Acer Official Online Store and authorised resellers nationwide.
Collaboration with Pestle & Mortar Clothing
Also announced at the launch event is the first-ever collaboration between Acer Malaysia and Pestle & Mortar Clothing (PMC). The partnership introduces a new Acer Malaysia line of modern streetwear.
Chan Weng Hong, General Manager of Products, Sales & Marketing, Acer Sales & Services Sdn. Bhd. has been quoted saying, “With this collaboration with the renowned Malaysian streetwear brand, Pestle & Mortar Clothing, we hope to move closer to the younger group and bring together both Acer and Predator fans by uniting them through an everyday, fashionable wear.”

Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 – Malaysian Grand Final
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 is returning for the second year, bigger and with two games. The tournament now will now involve 16 countries and hosting the regional PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and DotA 2 competitions. The prize pool has been increased to a whopping US$400,000, including local prizes across the 16 countries.
The Predator Shield was previewed as a showcase to all teams to inspire them to bring forth their best skill and strategies to win. Starting from Friday to Sunday, the qualifiers will meet for the Malaysian Grand Final in 1 Utama Shopping Mall. The winners are looking at taking home prizes as well as a total of RM56,000 cash. The Malaysian champion will battle teams from 15 other nations (Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Myanmar, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam) in the Grand Final that will be hosted by Acer Thailand in February next year.
