The domestic level of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 has finally concluded with more Malaysian-based local teams bringing home glory and are now challenging the top spot on the international level.

The 2 titles the teams are competing in are MOBA Dota 2 and “Chicken Dinner” PUBG where Team RSG took the crown for the former while Team SGD made easy work in the latter. Each of them took home RM11,000 in cash together with several Predator gaming chairs as their spoils of war.

For Dota 2, Team RSG’s Wong “mks” Sim An, Ng “xsilearn” Anwei, Lee “X1aOyu” Qian Yu, Trần“xiaobonbon” Hoàng Minh Quý, and Roger Tan “Roddgee” Boon Thye, smashed Atlantis for the second time with a final score of 3-2 but the equal amount of respect must be given to the runner-up team Atlantis as well because they managed a total of 11 matches back-to-back which showed their resilience and perseverance in tackling all the do or die moments. Invited by Predator Gaming Malaysia is Team SMG as well who will be flown to Japan directly and you know the boys if you’re a long-time Dota 2 fan – Yeik ‘MidOne’ Nai Zheng, Kam ‘MooN’ Boon Seng, Daryl ‘iceiceice’ Koh Pei Xiang, Tue ‘ah fu’ Soon Chuan, and Wilson ‘poloson’ Koh Chin Wei.

On the PUBG side of things, Anderson “Shen” Chong, Alex Tan “Sophiya” Boon Keung, Wong “Jervis” Jervis, Tan “IAMPETE” Chun Chou, and Lee “DreamsYr” Jing Horng of Team SGD got the #1 Winner Winner Chicken Dinner thanks to their teamwork and accuracy but thanks to how team slots work for this tournament, runner-up Team Setup will be heading towards Japan as well, consisting of team members Muhammad Shafiq Ridzuan “Apikk” bin Mohd Azmi, Mohd Fikri bin “Km0N” bin Abd Jalil, Muhammad Asraf “Zosvatek” bin Mohd Malek, and Muhammad Iqmal Hafiz “MalDKendrix” bin Abdullah.

The grand finals will be held from November 11 to November 13 – a 3-day feast of top-tier esports with intense outplays and PogChamp moments.
